Description

Thin Peel, small to medium sized with tasty and robust flesh these bananas are cut while green but the fruit is matured on the tree. These are then ripened naturally on the trunk by keeping them inside a closed dark place )room or container with or without smoke) for few days. Rajapuri bananas are a good source of potassium to balance fluid levels in the body and vitamins B12 and B6 to maintain metabolism and build red blood cells. The fruits also provide magnesium to help regulate blood pressure and contain some vitamin C to strengthen the immune system.

These are  famous local variety of bananas from Maharashtra. We suggest you to eat healthy Desi variety Bananas and not the commercially available Cavendish or Robusta variety preferred by vendors for its longer shelf life and better looks.
